Is there an administrator to contact on these boards?
I went to check on someother illneses listed and when I hit AS and Psoriasis I was shocked!! Filthiest things there and invitations to porn.
Why is it still there and who do you contact to get rid of it? It is horrible. Definately a reason for some not to participate on this site. Something should be done.
Surely an administrator knows how to remove these kinds of things and not let somebody use their site and hard work for such thing.

After fumbling around trying to get an administrator, I clicked on the bottom of the page re web whiz forums since they seem to be the ones setting up all the forums. They do have a "contact us" link so one cd send them an email about this...whoa...hope they can put some deterrents on incoming/outgoing posts!i agree. Last year when I broke my foot (before PMR) i got a lot of support
from a forum on a site called Dr Foot. The forum was in a subsection on
Sports injuries. Then it started getting hi-jacked by spam and porn stuff.
The administrator was trying to wipe it off, but it just kept coming, and
eventually people stopped using the forum because the genuine messages
were hard to pick out, and every now and again and administrator came and
wiped everything (including real messages) out.
Everyone using theis board gets so much from it, it would be a great pity if
that happened.
MargaretWouldn't it be a pity though to have good boards ruined for everybody who needs them. I too saw a board that I think is gone now.
It was a Lupus forum and somebody had put smut and filth, unspeakable things, all through it.
Kept appealing on the boards to an administrator, and there was one....but she never responded.
People got tired of it.
I saw that too GMAMA down at the bottom and was not sure, but I'll go and try to ask about it too.
I saw another Lupus board that was the Lupus Foundation and it was wonderful, well arranged.
Never guess what took them out. People started arguing with one another and a couple of them would not back down. The Foundation threatened to close the boards if it did not stop and you know what?....They didn't stop.
All gone, unless they started another one in the last year or two. Don't think so.
Let's hope this one can be kept.
I for one signed out of board with the sexualy explicit filth and posted that was my reason why.

I never cease to be amazed at the perverts. Pure evil. Is this like exposing yourself in cyberspace or something? Do they sit around imagining our shock and hysteria? Sorry perverts, we deal with being stiff everyday. Get over it. Oh boy it's good to see how others don't like this sort of thing.
Now that is a find I didn't have, a new owner. Well it should fall in there real nice. I'd hope that it is someone who cares not to have this kind of thing going on.
Guess this will make us another bump.

a message came up which said "NO SPAM ALLOWED" and saying I had
exceded my limit of number of posts in a short time span. Obviously there
are some ways of trying to keep the spam and porn out.
Thanks Kewanee, my foot is now healed, but it took a long time. I was just
starting to get really better when the PMR started!

I too send a PM to the pervert told him to get a life, world is in an awful state not to mention all the pain and misery in it...I am concerned so much for our children/youth they have so much hatred and violence in them. not all but would not like to be 14 again.
Went over to our High School and made a donation to the Prom Committee, hoping to help a student with grad expenses, did this last year, so nice to think a teen can have a great time on their special night.
Still plodding along without pred. since Jan 2/07 so far, still in pain but going for acupuncture on neck and shoulders...some days better than others..Keeping you all in my prayers that pain will ease off.
