TNF blockers and risk of Breast Cancer | Arthritis Information

Hello,

 

As some of you may know, I am a BC survivor and have manage to acquire RA too.  Feeling a little bit skiddish about using TNF blockers and worried about bringing on another occurrence of BC, has kept me from going on them.  I am suppose to start Enbrel this month and since having a re-action to my PPD, I have been dragging my butt about starting them.  Well, I found the information I was looking for and it has immensely helped me come to terms with the starting of the TNF blockers.  I know that there may be other members in our group that also had BC and maybe worried about the use of TNF blockers too...So I included a link to the article that I found which stated that... 

 

"the use of the TNF blockers do not increase your risk for BC or a re-occurrence of it"
