1st Remicade infusion complete! | Arthritis Information

Just got home from my first Remicade treatment.  The nurses could sense my anxiety so they pampered me through it.  It went well and I really had nothing to be so nervous about.  Kicked back in the lazy boy, got the IV inserted  (I had "juicy" veins according to the nurse so the IV slipped right in),  read a magazine, took a power nap, drank a cup of coffee, had some good conversation with the nurses and other patients, etc....   No side effects during the infusion at all.  Three hours later, I'm done.  I hope my body responds to the treatments as well as this first infusion went.

Well..I took the entire day off work due to not knowing what to expect.  So I think I'll take a real nap and get that sleep that I didn't get last night due to being so darn nervous about today.  However, I hate to waste a perfectly good day as I am also having a good arthritis day as well.  Nah....a nap sounds good.  I think I'll just make this a "me day". A bubble bath and a nap!

Hope you have a great day too!

Diane

Hi congratulations on getting through your first 'remicade' with ease, hope all goes well, Sarah

Real glad to hear it went well Diane....definately continue your "Me" day and just take it easy the rest of the day.

Well, you have had a good productive day. That is more than I can say right
now. I have a dirty house and have to work tomorrow and friday with a
whole house full of company coming this weekend. Oh well, i'm not
stressing. Glad it went well for you.
