Hi Brian,

I have this too and it is sensory neuropathy. Mine is caused by inflammation and damage to the small blood vessels that supply the small fiber nerves. This usually does not show up on tests so don't be discouraged if that happens, it just means other causes are ruled out. If the cause of it can be found out and treated to stop the damage that is the best, but often they can't do that and just treat the discomfort it causes with medications. Hope you get some relief soon.

Hello, I too have this.  My doctor prescribes Lyrica for it.  It is a drug that is normally used for diabetics with peripheral nueropathy which is just a fancy name for disorder of the nerves in the hands and feet.

hi..i have this too,
i believe it's from spine..i have problems from there, stenosis, but certainly not from my RA meds,Humira, or enough problems to have a back fusion,
I also take Lyrica, it helps..It's very annoying, with it being on sole of feet..it burns, and feels like something in the shoe..
Had EMG's also, where they try to find out what the source of nerve prob is.
It seems to get worse, when i stick my legs up in Lazy-boy, so that tells me it's the spine
These kind of things, it could be differant on everybody, the source..Have your primary care doctor refer you to a nuerologist..
good luckI too have many of these. I'm pretty sure it was from " Enbrel ". Had to stop it and did,but synptoms remain big time
