Armpit area - anyone swell there? | Arthritis Information

New swelling - however is it RA related?

Left side sore & swollen, right side not as swollen, not as sore.

Do I call regular doctor or RA doctor - if some of you have had swelling in this area - please let me know.

THANKS!

Long before I got RA both my armpits swole (swelled?) up once after a long,
intense finger massage. The person that massaged my fingers said toxins
collect in the tips of your fingers and toes, and the massage had released
them, causing the lymph nodes under my arms to swell up. The swelling
lasted about 3 days.I have major swelling uder my right armpit probably 75%  if the time.  Never have really found out why, or been able to get it to go away.  Dr's just say 'oh it's because you have inflamation in your body'.  But I hope you get it figured out.  No fun.  call your regular doctor. you have a bunch of lymph nodes there and swelling can be a sign of infection

So swelling of leg joints caused by toe massage, incredible story, ha,ha,ha.

The swells, I believe and have experienced before was due to uric acid/impurities. Normally other symptoms might show like dried mouth, fatigue, restless also digestive system to watch like irregular toilet habits and dried stools.

I solved the problem by drinking wild lingzhi tea more often and ate alot of fibre fruits/juices and water to flash out the impurities.

Swollen lymph nodes is a sign of a flare.  Your lymph nodes swell when your immune system is fighting something - like for us - synovial fluid in the joints
