Oscar Myer Weiners | Arthritis Information

I am allergic to Oscar Myer Weiners I believe. I noticed a couple of weeks back when I would eat one a few hours later some where on my body I would be broke out in a patch of itchy bumps.

I did not eat any for a week or so and then I decided to buy another pack of them. That night I ate one or 2 or was it 3?... anyways a couple of hours later I was itching and broke out again!

They are sooo good... I will probably eat them even though they break me out. That is so funny!!! Joonie....BACK AWAY FROM THOSE OSCAR MEYER WEINERS!!! They may taste
good but they are not good for you at all. Look at the ingredients. You may
be reacting to the nitrites that are in the hot dogs. Listen to your body when
you have reactions like this. It is sending you a clear message.Lorster is right, it's probably the nitrates. Do you get that effect with bacon too? Not worth pain, itchy bumps!!!

Forget the nitrates, do you KNOW what hot dogs are made of????

Seriously, back away from the hot dogs, your body will thank you

My evil nemesis is Dairy Queen blizzards. They make me so sick to my tummy and I have potty issues for several days after eating one but I love them so!!!! And, of course, there is one directly across the street from my office, I get to stare at it all day and one a block from my house!!! Evil! I know most meat eaters will say yuk and not even try it...but veggie dogs are really good. They're made out of better stuff for you and they taste good, especially since you put stuff on them anyway. Just a suggestion.

For some reason it is only Oscar Myer ones that break me out. I can eat the ones that are a bright pink, but they do not have much taste, and they do not break me out. It seems it is just something in the Oscar Myer ones that has something in it that makes me break out.

My husband loves to eat clams. He grills them open outside and eats. One time he ate tons of them and broke out in hives, itchy, horrible. Couldn't hold still. He went to the emergency room, they gave him Benadryl and said it could be the beginnings of a shellfish reaction or maybe high iodine in them. I do think though with the hot dogs it's the nitrates. If you're really stuck on eating hot dogs, they make "nitrate-free" ones. Applegate farms makes them. I've never had them so I can't tell you how they are though. Do you get a reaction from bolony?I do not eat much bolony. But when I do eat it, no... no reaction. It has to be something in the Oscar Myer weiners that do it to me.Oh, I love hotdogs too....on the grill, a little burnt. Mmmmm...

I love OM All Beff hotdogs myself. Their the only ones I'll buy. Absolutely love them with cheese melted on them! No bun....just ketchup.
