I am soooooooo sick of looking at socks, towels, sons blankets, and wash clothes!!

I have caught up all the laundry again. I was beginning to think the socks would never stop coming. We had in-laws socks, ours socks, socks we did not even know whos they were. I washed everything! I even washed some things 2-6 times because they were in the floor and if they are in the floor they are dirty.

The washclothes... MIL left us her old ones and we have like 50 of them now. And now everyone uses a washcloth every time they shower and son will use one for everything.

Son will drag his blanket around the house and I am one of those that if it hits the floor you do not sleep with it until it is washed. One day I washed 3 of his blankets, because where I had them he could reach them and get a new one when he wanted them. SO I fixed that.

Joonie, didn't you know that laundry actually reproduces in the laundry
room?I don't know how old your kids are but mine have to do their own laundry once they are tall enough to reach the washing machine controls (around 11 years old). They have their own hampers in their bedrooms which they lug down to the basement every Sunday and it's up to them to make sure they have clean clothes for the rest of the week. I do their sheets though.

My kids do their own laundry too and have for awhile.

And where does that one sock that is always missing after you wash whites go?  Does the dryer monster eat it?

I seperate the washing( or we end up with blue whites), the kids hang it out to dry if its nice or put in the dryer if its raining and they all do their own ironing......Hubby changes the beds and i sit and laugh at them all trying to get the duvets in their covers

My kids fold/hang up laundry and put it away. I usually wash it though. Even my husband is told to stay away from the washer unless he's just washing his work clothes. He just throws whatever he sees laying around in the washer- all together. So we'll have a towel, a few socks, his work clothes...and then maybe a shirt of mine or my DD's (which I wash separately) all together in a load. Drives me nuts! That's why at this point...as long as I'm physically able to, I'll do it.

I can't stand socks. We have a basket full of socks. You are on your own to find a mate. My hubbie is great of washing and drying it. He carrys it upstairs and I fold it when I can. I figure it's good therapy on my arms. He is remodeling a bedroom upstairs to laundry room so after that I won't have any excuse. lol
