A huge congratulations to your daughter.  Quite an accomplishment.Congratulations to her, and to you! The family is beautiful!

NancyIt is interesting about this daughter. she dropped out of high school when
she was a senior because she was smarter than her parents. She got
pregnant, got married at 17 and she is 27 and has an 9 year old. She is the
one that is moving to Iowa    so her husband can start medical school. It
goes to show you that it does not matter. If you put your mind to
something, you can do it. That is a message to all of our young people that
are discouraged at times. It is scary when our children do some of the things they do. My daughter-in-law got married out of highschool (to a jerk), had to babies, divorced, married my son at 20 (he was 19, ugh). They both got college degrees (his in engineering), now she's a successful 'real estate sales woman' , They have 3 lovely, successful, happy, productive children. They've worked hard to 'make it', it has been tough but what they've accomplished is fastastic. (they own their house, nice cars, tractors, on 3 acres) Ya never know......lv sarah These success stories do my heart good.  There is some sutff going on with our 22 year old that I am worried about.  Hopefully she will be a success story also.  I think we reach the height of our stupidity during their teenage years and
when they get into their mid 20's, we all of a sudden become wise again,
funny how that works. I think the important thing is no matter what foolish
decisions they make, tell them what you think and what the consequences
can be, listen to them but don't judge, keep the communication lines open
all the time so that there are no secrets. Accept what decisions they make
even if you want to just shake some sense into them. Eventually they figure
it out and do fine. It is all about communication and not judging them. I'm
proud of all my kids.Your family is beautiful, congratulations!
