Here is a picture of my feet from last May. I will take a new picture so ya'll can see how my left foot has changed if any, within a year.

My left foot is always turned inward like you see it in the picture. I can straighten it out, but it will not stay straightened out. I am not peigeon-toed, it is from my ankle that makes my foot turn inward like that. When I was a kid, my left side was the most affected by my JRA.

I should take a pic. of my ankles. The rhumy said Tuesday they were really swollen....well, duh- I knew that.

Yeah, it is hard for me to have dry skin. I am a grease ball. I have very oily skin and hair. And since I have very oily skin I tend to suntan very easily.

Fortunately, my feet aren't nowhere near as bad as my hands.  My left foot is as close to normal as you can get and my right foot is really affected by the RA.  My toes are doing that swaying thing but they haven't changed much from this in about 2-3 yrs.  I also have that feeling underneath my big toe like there is a bone sticking out and can be very painful walking on.   Right ankle is also out of alignment so I go through shoes really fast.  I don't have the shoe inserts to fix that and I know they can be pretty expensive.

Yeah, those shoe inserts are expensive. My sister has to have them for work and she has to buy special shoes from the foot Dr. to help with her feet. She has a standing job and she walks alot, so she makes good use out of those inserts and shoes she buys. If she does not get her shoes from the foor Dr. and buys them from a shoe store, they do not last her as long and they make her feet hurt worse.

I think my left ankle is out of alignment too... might explain why my foot drifts off to the right when it is relaxed or when I first wake up it is in that position.
