Talk about coincidences lol. We just had a thread about feet swelling and stiffness while on a plane. I got my e-newsletter from the Arthritis Foundation late last night and there is an article about what you can do to help prevent swelling and stiffness while flying!!
hI , with this prednisone, that makes you retain water, I've been taking a diuretic (20 lasix), maybe that would help swelling in ankles and feet? lv sarahIt might and it might not. I am on a diuretic for my high blood pressure (ummm chlorthalidone) and I still swell and retain water from the pred. Probably isn't as bad tho.
Some people might not be able to take a diuretic when traveling because of other meds and health concerns tho. So, hopefully some of these easy and simple exercises will help them.
