Swelling at night | Arthritis Information

I had a great hands, feet, and knee day yesterday. Everything looked just about normal! Very little pain and stiffness. However, I woke up at about 4am in pain, swollen, and stiff. I did take my regularly scheduled pain meds (60mg of morphine time released over 12 hours) on time at 10pm. This has never happened like that to me before. Checked the weather...no rain in sight til Wednesday. I am due today for my mtx shot (.8ml). Could it be because of that? I so had my hopes up that yesterday was the start of remission

Aww, hon, I'm sorry. It's so hard when we start hoping and things don't go smoothly.

Did you over-do it yesterday and maybe it caught up with you? Or maybe it is the mtx like you said...I don't have enough experience with that.

Are you feeling any better now?

Sorry Liz that you feel so yukk, it must be in the air as i too have had the same symptoms, this RA is unforgiving I hope Danny is feeling better now, how is Danielles hands?Sorry Skittles sometimes there just is no rhyme or reason. I like to take a hot bath, seems to ease things off. A good day even with a set back is still good. It is progress 2 steps forward and 1 back is still 1 forward.This disease is so unpredictable. You probably are headed for remission just
not in a straight line.

Leave it to me to walk a crooked path lol. Maybe I can blame my klutziness on that lol.
