I have RA for 7 years now, also Empysema and Diabeties (caused by taking Prednison)
I have acute itching all over my body which is making me nuts. If anyone has the same I would love to hear from you. I suspect it is one of the drugs Im on, but not sure which one.
Drugs I take are, Prednison, Losec, Temazapan, Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate, Folic Acid, Calcium Carbonate, Cal De Forte, Anten.
Best wishes to all.It could very well be your meds. Other reasons are liver and kidney
problems. A high bilirubin level can cause major itching all over.

I get the itchies from opioids. I could easily scratch my face off. Why the name Shanghied?

Yours sounds like a severe case. How do you know the pred gave you diabetes? I'm trying to get off of that crap, but my other meds aren't working so I have to 'wait'! How long have you been on pred?

i get prednisone diabetes as well. whenever i am on prednisone i need insulin also. it could be the sulphate causing the itching . i am an asthmatic and i cant take sulphate. i think because it causes bad allergies.Welcome to AI. Glad you're here. Welcome to the board!
