Anyone with Thyroid issues too? | Arthritis Information

I have quite a list of Autoimmune disease..

All my doctors were calling in a panic over my lab tests (on Monday
evening and Tuesday morning).

Seems that my Potassium was 6.4 (norm 3.5-5.0), my Sodium was up 140 (norm 135-145), my TSH is in the toilet 0.02 (norm 0.47-4.68), T3 1.44 (norm 0.97-1.69) and Thyroxine (T4) 0.97 (norm  0.78-2.19).  So, I agreed that I would go to the hospital if I felt ANYTHING was wrong and waited to have it all re-drawn on Tuesday .  Well that went well... I had it drawn on my way back through from seeing the Gastro.  Those results are EXACTLY the same with the exception that the Potassium has gone down to 4.9 (just barely within range).

I think that I really need to get that drawn for a while on a monthly
basis between the Addison's (balancing the Potassium and Sodium is a trick), the Kidney issues... and then the heart.

Here's the BIG question:   Am I falling Hyper (graves again)?  Or Hypo?

Also, I forgot to mention that I have had a goiter for over 2 years
now... weight is 30+grams.

Thank you all in advance for your time, opinions, and help.
Cindy

My gracious girl!! You've got all sorts of things going on.

I personally don't have any experience with anything except RA...but hang around; someone here will know more than me for sure.

I'm sure combined they'll be someone here with all of these problems.

Hang in there Olive. Sounds like you're one tough Cookie.

Lovie

Olive;

Sorry you are having all these problems.  A goiter is associated with hyperthyroidism.  I have hypothyroidism myself.  Because the thyroid affects alot of things with our bodies, drs. are concerned. I hope things get better, let us know what happens.  meme
