has anyone else ever had this? it feel like my tonue is swelling up a bit? i am a little scared
I have not experienced that. Have you started any other new meds or supplements lately? I whipped out my handy dandy side effects sheet about mtx and didn't see anything listed there about that. However, swelling of the tongue can mean an allergic reaction. I would contact your doc asap and if you get any worse with that, go to the ER ASAP!

i drank a bunch of water ,maybe i am a little dehydrated, i think that is a side effect. I am on ultram, and did not take my folic acid today, as i figured the mtx would get into my system betteer if i didnt? i will keep a close eye on it. The hospital is only 3 blocks away if needed. Oh also i am on 15mg prednisone! how could i forget that?

Hi, I took 15 mgs of mtx Thursday night, am on pred 10mgs, (but didn't take it until the next morning, I have been feeling sleepy and 'tired' , but no throat reactions. The Ultram? ugh???? didn't someone else mention the tight throat a couple of days ago? I'll see if I can find it, sarah
