OT-What did you do last night? | Arthritis Information

Hi all, I was typing away and commenting on posts last night at 11:00 pm, and I thought "WOW, Sarah, you sure have an exciting life" , what did the rest of you do last night that was fun? Saturday night and out on the town? lv sarah

I went out for a bit but tucked in early. THis storm is trying so very hard to make and appearance and nothin' yet so it is hard on the ol' RA.

Today was laundry and cleaning up the house, daughter and her bfriend will be by later.

I AM BORING and quite happy with my life. I sure wished my nephew could feel better with this cancer thing though. I did learn that my other nephew in CA  is gonna be a daddy of a girl this time so I am happy about that. Also my great nephew is signed on for a movie and another commercial so that is good too.

As for me, just making it through the bad bone days, nothing fancy, nothing overly exciting.

I read in bed until sleepy time.

Jode,

sounds like my days.  I'm very happy with a quieter lifestyle now.  I turned in early last night, after working all day, I wasn't about to go out last night =)

Today, got stuff ready for a garage sale, cleaned house and did a TON of laundry.

Made dinner for my family and my kids friends who were over and went to bed. Woooo Hooo! Slept great though. My friend "broke in" (actually we forgot to lock the door) at 2 am to pick up her son cause he had fallen asleep here watching a movie and was past curfew and I never heard a thing!

i had 10, 10 year olds over for my daughters sleepover birthday party

My 15 year old had a surprise party for one of her friends at our house.  It was my MTX day I just had to go take a hot bath and relax.  I left my husband and 22 year old stepdaughter in charge.

I heard a loud clunk and screams, I found out that my daughter thought it would be funny to push the face of the birthday girl in the chocolate cake.  Of course, I had just paid my stepdaughter to thoroughly clean the floor, wood counters and tables.

The rest of the party was spent with the hostess cleaning and mopping the kitchen.  I guess it wasn't as funny as she thought.

LOL Sarah. My husband and I drove 720 miles yesterday to take my MIL
back to Wyoming where she lives. So, it was a very long drive and didn't get
home till almost midnight.

I went to a dinner party with some friends.  Had a great time...no drinking for me though...heheheheh.

Anyway...by 9:30 my feet started to hurt so had to leave the party early

First my husband and I ushered at our community theatre so we could see Bill Cosby for free.  It was awesome!  He's 79 years old and he is still so sharp and funny.  There were people there from every generation and they all adored him.  It seems everyone loves Bill Cosby.  He did two back-to-back sold out performances - went two hours straight, had about a 90 minute break and did another 2 hour show.  Hubby and I only saw the first show, but our son worked the shows and said there was no duplication in the material he did in the first show versus the second.  How does he do it at his age?

Then I came home, made a quick supper for hubby and I, collapsed on the couch and took a nap.

Next we loaded up our van (now it's like 9:00 pm) with some of the furniture we have collected over the last few months at yard sales for our daughter and drove to meet our daughter and her fiance as they arrived at their new rental home.  They have returned to Connecticut from being in Chicago for 5 years for college and work.  They  rented a cute little cottage about an hour's drive from our home - which sure beats a 14 hour drive to Chicago!  I'm so glad to have them back.  We unloaded the stuff, got them some food and then headed home, arriving after 1 a.m.  Then it was up again at 7:00 am to meet the truck with their furniture and help them get settled in.  Now I'm so sore I can barely move.  Everything hurts and I know I'm going to be paying for this for days, but I wouldn't change a thing!

Well...my brother just got back in town from a job he has been on since Janurary. His wife has been here holding down the fort with 5 kidos. So last night I went to their house and watched the neices and nephews. Had a lot of fun with them, but had the hardest time keeping my eyes open.

Daddy and I took our almost 3 yr old to the Fort Worth Zoo today to see all the animals and Spiderman! I am really worn out after walking around for 3 hours! But it was soooo worth it to see the look on my little ones face when he saw the elephants, tigers, and of course, Spiderman.
I didn't know spiderman lived at the zoo

Went over to in-laws for dinner and then went to Freak-Mart for groceries for the coming up week.

Then I sat there and watched hubby tile the bathroom floor for a few and then I grew bored with that, so I went to my room and played a game on my computer, while listening to the TV and my son snore, until 3am.

Played with my new website:    http://pwilson.foliosnap.com/

and watched a dvd.

Big fun!

Hillhoney. i love the theatre and i love Bill Cosby, a wonderfully talented man.

Didnt really do anything Saturday night except wrap gifts and fix goodie bags.

We had a birthday party for Ally on Sunday, which totally wiped me out, even with only 1 guest other than gramma. Her actual birthday is today but it was more convenient to have the party yesterday.

Today i will take her to get her big girl bike.. wheeee!

How was Cosby?!?!?!  He is so hilarious.  Hmmm what did I do Saturday night.  I was cranky lol.  It was my down day from my mtx shot so we didn't do too much.  My 15 year old made homemade pizza for dinner and that was very yummy.  We just kicked back and watched TV.  Caught up on some DVR'd shows.  Finally watched Heroes lol.  Played a few games of rummy with the kids.  Basically a nice quiet family night.  Surprisingly enough, no extra kids around the house this past weekend.  I'm sure they will make up for it this coming weekend tho lol.

I lead such a boring life lol.

Last night ( sunday)hubby lit a fire in the garden as we are pulling down old wooden out buildings that were here when we moved in and he burnt them. The kids found some hand held sparklers ( like fireworks) and had great fun even the 18 year old thought she was 10 again. They toasted marshmellows too , it was such a lovely evening here, the weather was warm and it didnt get dark until 9.30pm.I lay on a garden lounger watching them ..........

My kind of life!

I *Love* this thread.  It gives us some insight into those we spend time with on this board.  Great idea Joonie!!!

I had a busy day Saturday...My husband and I and Kelsay went garage saleing w/ some friends of ours and their 3 kids.  Had lunch at a park which resulted in us getting attacked by geese!!! OMG are those things mean.  So hubby had to keep himself armed w/ a big stick to keep em away lol.  So then we drove down to their house and spent the rest of the day there and didnt get home till 11:30-11:45

Sunday... well... I did much of nothing. We ate dinner, and played a game on my laptop again. Oh we did go to town to get some meats that were on sale. I took my Humira again yesterday too.

That is all.

I think my life is WAY MORE BORING than GrammaSkittles.

Oh wait... darn brain fog! I did go down to the trailer with hubby and helped to paint the master bedroom for to get it ready to sell. We got someone coming to look at it today... so hopefully it will be a done deal and we will not have to worry about getting it sold anymore.

joonie39223.5827546296Nice Pictures, Pammy! LOL So you managed to stay in the cart this time Sarah???
