NEw Enbrel patient | Arthritis Information

I just started Enbrel 25mg injections twice a week. Its great and it has reduce my acute pains on breastbone, lower backs and neck. But after 2 weeks of starting I got strong pains on both wrists, ankle and finger joints. Did any one had this side effect before? I never had pain on hand or wrist joints before.. Not sure if this is due to the injection or something else?

Would like to know from anyone taking enbrel if they had hand joint pains after starting the injections. Cheers

My wrists and fingers have been killing me for over a year now. i cannot lift a milk carton with my right hand without using my left had for support. I will start Humira in a couple of weeks. trial drug. Hopefully I will not get worse. are you feeling better now?

I too have AS. I am a 44 year old female . I am on Humira every 2 weeks. I allready feel better. But....Lately Ive been coughing alot, and when I lay down at night I cant breath very well. Sometimes I have to just get back up because I cough and cant breath. Has this happened to anyone else?

My 17 year old son has As and they started him out on Enbrel and he was doing the 25 mg twice a week then they went to the 50 mg once a week . Then his doc told us about the enbrel Inject pen. It is called the Enbrel Sureclick Auto Inject pen. My son loves it You dont have to see the needle and it is much easier for him to use and you can jest throw the pen in the trash no boxes to keep around for them to be put in.
