Saturday I was feeling great. I was excited and told my mom that the Plaquinil had finally kicked in. I was even considering going down to 4 mg of pred from my usually 6. I didn't adjust my meds, I decided to give it a week. Now the joints in my hands are sore to the touch and really stiff. My knee are stiff and I have to concentrate on walking normal and not limping. I can't help but thinking if I didn't comment on how great I was feeling maybe I still would be. Thanks for letting my vent.
RA is up and down without notice. It's so random. It's hard to tell when it's going to happen.....and it's often hard to get excited when you're doing well because you learn it can end at any second.
Don't panic. It's likely going to pass as quickly as it came. Give it a a little time. You probable were very active while you were feeling better and the results are what you are feeling now.
Hang in there. The good times will come again. Think positive.
Also, Caprice it can take several months for plaquenil to kick in.
