True...we don't have to read them, just scroll down to another topic...but 35 pages of Bush stuff....Some of them need the CIA to look into
I think, RA, or not, some of this needs to be settled in a boxing ring.
I really think this board needs to be monitored more closely

I wanna see that boxing match lol. Oh man....that was a hilarious mental image I got of that when I read that lol. Oh man, I think the weight of the boxing gloves alone is enuf to make some of us fall down lol.
I am NOT in any way shape or form picking on your post or making light of the way you feel. The fighting...well...I guess it might be expected with the mix of all sorts of different personalities and walks of life that are here on the board. Can we do anything about it? Nah. We can ask, beg, and plead for it to stop. Will it? Nah. Is it amusing at times? Yes. Is it annoying at times? Yes. Is it necessary? No. But it's gonna happen. Do we have to read it? Nopers.
The Bush thread...well...that really gave my brain a workout. And hopefully other people's too. I really don't feel the CIA needs to be involved in it tho. Just opinions from us people that sometimes have nothing better to do than THINK about things sometimes. If the CIA knocked on my door they would laugh very hard and very uproariously at me lol. Pat me on the head and walk away. Maybe one of them will be cute lol. I love a man in a suit lol. Hey...I love my husband but I can always look at the menu...just not order off of it lol.
Good luck on getting the board monitored more closely lol. Many have tried. All have failed. It is an unmoderated board so just about anything goes. All I really ask is to keep the cuss words outta here as that can really truly offend many people.
All in all, there are a good bunch of people here. Some of them have become close friends. However, when it is time for support for an ra problem and sometimes for a non ra problem, people are there for you. And isn't that what truly matters??
Liz, i got a great mental image as well...ok this is the way i see it. RA is our life so anything OT that we post regarding our life should be allowed on here. Im not sure how many times it needs to be said but if you dont want to read something dont do it. We arent sitting there making you read each post.Yeah Grammie!!!!
You are so darn smart. I love the last words of your post. In fact, when people, be it me or whoever need someone, there is always someone there. People get the support they need on here, I believe. And, yes, that IS what truly matters.

I sometimes wish you would not paint with such a broad stroke. I believe that is why many of us prefer not to discuss politics on an RA thread. Just because I don't discuss politics here, does not mean I need you to "guarantee" my civil liberties. I have been involved in politics all my life and have no problem talking about my views in what I deem is the appropriate forum. I prefer not to incur ill will on a board that is for support. Just something to think about.
Phats/Fats A lot of people want an un-moderated, uncensored board. Roxy is one of them. I have been blasted before on here, and I know my own fault for posting "details". But I have learned and am moderating myself. I do not mind a moderated board, usually helps the board to move along more smoothly, unlike an un-moderated board. I do not see why some think a moderated board is so bad. So, what if someone removes a post that you wrote, if it was uncalled for or helped the board to stay at peace, then so be it. When you join a moderated board you are playing by the board owners rules, and give up your right to not be censored. Me, I rarely say anything, ok I might when I am in pred psychoisis, that needs to be deleted or even censored. If anyone finds any posts from me that might should have been censored or deleted, well... I blame it on the pred. Ever so often I get in pred moods where I have mood swings and do not deal well with things, just like everyone else on this board. But hopefully... with the pred taper those will be a thing of the past.
No really pred at 10mg or above and being on it months straight will make me paranoid and a little pshycotic. And at one time 5mg of pred was making me that way as well, but now that my body is not responding well to 5mg it does not seem to make me moody, paranoid, or even seeming a little psycho I'm in a pred mood right now Joonie

shut up. I was explaining to her that throughout history, people have not
shut up and that is why we have some of the freedoms we do and they
should not be taken advantage of. And that includes war. I see no harm in
people sharing their political view on the RA forum as it is current policy that
dictates how we are helped with this disease. For someone to come on here
and post for the first time and bash the bush thread, or any other political
thread is beyond me. I question this persons reason for being here. Is Mary
bring her politics to the RA forum? She didn't even introduce herself. The
comment about the CIA? Sounds like something Daisy would say. I happen to agree with Mary. I think there are some pretty bad attitudes towards the USA on that thread.
