very nice  group of people.

Another one is: ttp://rheumahasit.jconserv.net/index.php.
This one has a moderator by the name of LuAnn and the board is very user friendly as are the members. It is a fairly new addition and is not too busy right now.  So pay them a visit!
Thank You so much, I will be checking them out, perhaps some of you will be there? Hope to catch up.

Lorraine

Thanks Lorrie

My favorite is 4ratalk.com there are a lot of really nice folks  over there and you can get some really useful help there. Anytime I have a question I can ask it and with in minutes I'll have really good advice. Researched advice. It's the first place i go when I'm in need.....and their friendship and support is great too!

This place has a great group of people active as well. AI has it's ups and downs but there is a strong group of regulars here that won't be run off due to trouble. It comes and goes. If you must leave.....come back again later. It's likely you'll find a totally different place on a different day. AI is still one of my favorite sites due to the people involved.

Oh, oh, oh, I can't resist!  :-)

Anymore RA boards out there? Maybe Fibro boards to add?

Good Night John-Boy. Will bump you up again when I get online tomorrow evening Do I dare add www.rasushi.org???

LOL Hey, I'm just trying to help.

There's also www.dailystrength.org and www.restministries.org - which is a religious site for people with all kinds of diseases, they have a message board AND a chat room. I'm not a terribly religious person, but that chat room is AWESOME. When you can catch a few people, they are all so incredibly sweet and caring.

Here is a fibro board.  www.immunesupport.com

Just checked out the other boards and I still think this one is the easiest to get around in. hm..maybe im just comfortable here. This one is very easy to get around in.  What I like about other boards is the variety that some have to offer.  And you meet new people.  The more you know the better off you are is what I feel about visiting other boards.  I am active on umm lets see...4 boards right now.  About all I can handle lol.

Thanks for the list of boards. Have a neighbor who has just found out that he has RA. Will print out the list for him.

Thanks again,

So joonie,

Why are other boards more stable? Why do other boards or rather forums, seem to you, to be more supportive, positive and stable? Seems to me that way back since RAfriends and beyond, if there was ever trouble at a forum, you were always in the middle of the trouble. You were even caught breaking into private message boxes at a forum that you were an asst. adm., right?

The question is, which of these sites that you think are better than the arthritis insight forum are you going to go to and in so doing make arthritis insight a better forum.

Anybody that thinks that another forum is better than arthritis insight, that thinks another forum is more stable, more positive and more supportive, follow joonie to another forum.

As they say south of the boarder, adios.

LEV

Adios? Aww lev, leaving so soon? Have fun!

Here's a good Fibro site and message board www.fibrotalk.com

There's also www.careplace.com which has a place for people with lots of different illnesses.

And last but not least, the new board that was started by the OLD owners of this board - www.rheumorweb.com

So now everyone should have a massive list of just about every active RA/related illness board that we know of!!  Did I miss any????? :)

Well, Lev... there were some problems going on and a couple of people mentioned they were leaving and I just wanted to provide them with somewhere to go. At the time of this post the board was not stable, meaning a lot of bickering and other stuff that would run off a newbie.

I am not always in the middle of anything. On RAF I had to be in the middle of everything. I was admin and the only one that was awake, the site owner lived in australia and she was not doing so good RA wise, so it was left up to me to tend to any problems that the moderators could not handle themselves. Did I want to be in the middle of it, NO... but had no choice. I had to do what memebers asked me of on that board.

All forums have problems, even the Arthritis Foundation board had some problems, when a couple of people thought a lady faked her own death.

Oh and for your information... I did not break into, I had access, just like the site owners of this message board has access to your PM's. I was asked to gather up all the emails of the members that were RAF members, for 4RATalk and when I downloaded those, PM's were in the same file. I decided to get my saved PM's with peoples email addy's, phone #'s and addresses. Since I did not write them down and just stored them in my PM inbox.

I enjoy a variety myself. Doesn't mean I don't like them all though. Sometimes you feel like a nut.....sometimes ya don't.

Joonie, dont fall into the "pot stirring trap" I can sense something is

about to start boiling againYeah Tara, Lev comes in with his many aliases and does this stuff. Last week
was a bad one. Lets all get along.

Oh I was just setting the record straight. I was not going to feud with him. It not worth my time anymore, and I have learned my lesson.

No worries.I appreciate the names of all the other boards posted. Might also find some other good tips.
