Ra Nodules | Arthritis Information

MY Ra has been out of control for over a year and now I am starting to get nodules.  Very depressing!  My Doc and I have been trying different medications.  When I am finally under control will the nodules go away?  If not, how do I get rid of them?

Sorry you haven't been doing very well lately.

I've had nodules go away and some have stayed.  So it's possible that once you get things under control,  they may go away.

Hope u feel better soon!

Well, that is good news.  I thought once you had the nodules, they stayed.  I don't have those, fortunately, so one less thing to worry about.

Phats

Mine have stayed, unrelated to whether I've improved or not.  I have several on my fingers that are persistent. It may be because my RA/PA have I've never been under control.

Hey Poof,

I have nodules. They kinda come and go. I have one on each of my middle finger knuckles and a big one on my left wrist and one west of my right breast. I'm used to them, they give my hands character, so i think and that's all that matters. They don't bother me in the least. I have had severe RA for about two years, big deal.

Today i had a short PM conversation with an RAer that has had RA for fourty years, since she was four years old, long before biologics. Gosh, the pains she had to go thru. Nope, nodules don't bother me nor does my pain.

Think about it, fourty years with out the meds we have. She is an RA heroe.

Poof,

Post script:

It took over a year to find the right coctail for me and with that and a few things i add i feel pretty darn good. Hang in there.

Oh, and my nodules did get quite smaller.
