Do your feet swell or more like bloat at night?
I noticed tonight when I put my knockoff crocs on to go outside with my sister to see her out that they felt tight on my feet and normally they are a little loose.
Joonie, my ankles are usually swollen and achy by late afternoon. This has been happening now for a couple of months, but getting worse now as our colder weather approaches. My feet are always cold.
They are much better this week then weeks past. My feet were turning a purple tint and hurting if I was on them for any length of time and continued to hurt even when I was off of them, but the pain was worse when they were a purple tint. My feet were not cold. My mom got to see them purple and was with me the whole day the first time I noticed them turning purple. She thinks it is poor circulation. It was on my list of things I wanted my RD to address, but he never did
But since taking that pred dose pak a couple of weeks back and the Humira FINALLY kicking in, my feet are not a problem. It is just tonight I noticed they were swelled/bloated.
I was afraid that when my feet were hurting that it meant I was going downhill again, because that is what happened last time, when I was so bad off and bed ridden.
I hope you method of warming up your feet is easy enough for you to be able to do it all winter jOONIE, YOU SHOULD GET THAT CHECKED, sorry for the caps, it could be fluid, you may need to change your meds and get your blood pressure checked too. Mostly my ankles swell, sometimes my feet, and my blood pressure has been under control with meds for 15 years (Avalide--antihypertensive and diuretic combined). The swelling didn't start until the RA.
Now I have two pair of identical shoes...the new tight ones, and the old stretched out ones that I wear most of the time because of my swollen ankles.
Sometimes they are swollen when I wake up, but they are almost always swollen by the end of the day. I'm not on any pred, but I sure wish I were. The one pred pack I had worked miracles.

After I got off the internet last night I decided to take pics of my feet so I can compare them and show ya'll what they look like the next morning.
I think they were swelled because I was on my feet alot yesterday.
Anyways, here are pics of my feet.
Well, it is not really noticable in the pics, of the swelling, but! If you look at my right knee it is beginning to swell again
Oh well, I just exposed my hairy legs to the whole entire cyber world
