Welp, went for my bone density scan today. I actually got done before my appt was to be. I was there for registration at 1 and then back at radiology at 1:18 and done with the scan at 1:25 and my appt was at 1:30.
It was different then the first scan I had in 2001. But did seem faster
They did my lower spine. The tech said some do the heel of a foot, or the hips, or the lower spine.

I have been taking calcium supplements, but have not been taking them the last couple of months. I go thru bouts of not wanting to take pills or take as little as I can.
I am happy to hear that you had 10 "good" years of being on the pred without bone loss, binge.
Lovie - where do they do your scan at? The hips? or lower back?
