I saw an ortho surgeon a few days ago and he mentinoned that I might need some blood during the surgery. When I asked if it would be alright for my mother to give me some of her blood he said that she couldn't. I'm a laboratory tech. student and we have gone over the whole ABO & Rh grouping thing so I know about that. (anyway mom is A+ just like me) I've also seen some of the mistakes made by fellow students and am more than a little uneasy about receiving blood banked donor blood. Should I be worried or is it just last minute jitters before surgery??
