Hi all,

I haven't been around much for awhile.  Life has just been so difficult lately.  RA still going strong after 2 months of Enbrel.  I have new joints joining in the fun.  I can hardly hold a pen to write anymore, and my hands HURT.  Every joint in my body hurts.

Work has been horrible, busy, and unrelenting.  I'm on vacation this week, and plan to get some rest and relaxation.  It seems like everything in life, from work to my kids, has been doing nothing but adding stress.

I haven't felt much like participating on the boards, but maybe when I'm feeling better I will be more active again.

Just letting you know I'm still here, just not feeling much like participating.

Cris

Hope you're feeling better soon Cris. Devote this week to taking care of you!!

Hi Cris

Rest and try to be stress-free.  I wish that was as easy done as said.  I don't know about you but stress makes everything worse for me.  Take Care!

Rest up during your vacation, and if you can take a day just devoted to you!!! No cooking, cleaning, kids, bills, etc. Even if it is no more than a couple of hours, that small break will make all the difference in the world.

Hi Cris,

I'm sorry to hear things are so tough at the moment. Sounds like one of those times when it just seems to be everthing at once.  I'm glad you have the time off this week, that should help alot.

Get the rest that you need, and hopefully everything else will fall into place.....somehow things usually just do

If you feel like visiting, you know were here for you

Lots of love and best wishes for a week of peace and calm

Hope things start looking up for you really soon, like the others say, rest up and enjoy some 'you time'

Thanks for the encouragement.  'Me' time is definitely on my agenda this week.  Today I haven't done much, other than what I WANT to do instead of what I have to do.  I feel much more relaxed today than I have in a very long time.  I still hurt terribly, but at least I'm relaxed.

I have some new issues going on that I'm not sure are RA related or not.  New pains, old pains getting worse.

Anyway, thanks for your support.  I appreciate it.

Cris

Sorry chris that the meds are not working better for you, stay strong were all here for if you need to talk.take care of yourself.sherry

Hey Cris,

Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain.  Glad that you are getting to relax today and have that "me" time.  This is just my opinion, but I would make an appointment with my MD and find out why you are going "numb" from the waist down.  This is not normal.  Go in and get checked out just as a precaution.  Anyway, I hope you get to feeling much better.  I know you're sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Chris, sorry to hear you're having so much pain and stress.  Even if your Rheumy visit is a time away, call her TOMORROW  and ask her opinion as to what is going on.  She may need to refer you to a neurologist.  This weakness from waist down sounds strange.   Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you are doing!    Take good care of yourself and get some much needed R & R!
