First of all I made an appointment with an RD for June 21st and am on the wait list if anything comes open sooner. I'm glad I'm seeing my GP tomorrow. I was at the dentist, got up out of the chair, reached for my purse, which was hanging on a hook on the wall, and BAM! My hip gave out! If there was not a counter there I would have been down for the count. The poor girl as so surprised. I limped to my care and came straight home. My hip is buring and in a lot of pain. Is it normal to feel like the bone is burning? Needless to say I did my chores for the night and I am resting till I see the doc in the morning.

YICKS! That does sound scary. At least you know you'll have something to show your doctor tomorrow; right?
Has your hip been bothering you up to this point? Sure hope it's nothing too serious.
I'll be anxious to hear what the GP has to say about it. I'm suffering with some hip problems myself here lately and have struggled with it off and on over the years; but nothing quite like that. Now my knees have done it before. OUCH!
