I have taken enbrel for about three years and stopped 4and a half months
ago because of nueropathy in the lower legs, feet and weakness and general
aggitation. I have cognitive confusion, weakness, fatigue and several other
symptoms that seem MS related. Although initial MRIs have shown no
damage the symptoms have not gone away. I am wondering if anyone else
has suffered similar side effects and how long did they last. My doctor and
nuerologists indicate that this is most likely a side effect of the enbrel,
niether will give me a definitive answer and things dont seem to be getting
better. Looking for help in understanding what is happeneing and if anyone
else has had similar difficulties with enbrel and the outcome. Desperate for

Dr Pete - I am not on Enbrel, nor been dxed with PA (yet), but feel, share and hear your pain, frustration, and sadness. We are all on the same boat in here - keep posting, be your own doctor by doing all the research you can, eat healthy, and take it one day at a time. sorry I can't help as I am not on enbrel, I am on remicade. I hope you canfind some answers though - it sounds like you're having a tough time and 4 and a half months seem slike a long time for side effects still to be there...

Hi Dr. Pete: PLEASE PLEASE find a lyme-literate MD in your state. I have Lyme disease and PsA. Sounds all to familiar to me. Good luck!
