MSM sounds a bit like a magic bullet.   Ive been doing a bit of readign about it and found out
- good for allergies
- good for inflammation
- good for pain
- good for the stomach (helps ulcers to heal)
- stops people snoring
- great for hair nails and skin
Anyone used the magic bullet and got good results or help?

I tried it for allergies because I read it was "as good as or better" than antihistamines.

Did NOTHING for me.

I take MSM, just 2 in the A/M 2 in the P/M. I have to say that I feel a bit better when I take it than  if I do not take it. I would not state that it is a statistically significant difference, but every little bit helps.

MSM?? Tell me more. Terrible allergies, always looking for something better. Although benadryl can be a lifesaver.Monk

You can read about it here

Here's a quote about what it can do.

an analgesic (pain controller), MSM supplements aid in
the relief of inflammation, MSM passes through cellular
membranes of the body, including the skin, MSM dilates
blood vessels and increases blood flow, MSM blocks the
action of cholinesterase, thereby helping to restore
normal bowel activity, MSM dietary supplements reduce
muscle spasms, MSM alters the cross linking process in
collagen, therefore reducing scar tissue, MSM has anti
parasitic properties (particularly for giardia), and
MSM has an immune normalizing effect, as observed in
some autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis,
lupus, and scleroderma. One of the essential
components in all life forms, sulfur is involved in
amino acid production, connective tissue, skin, hair,
nails, (in animals, hide and hooves), enzymes,
hormones, and immunoglobulins. Dr. Jacobs lists the
following as the most frequent applications of
degenerative wear-and-tear arthritis Rheumatoid
arthritis, Chronic back pain, Chronic headaches,
Muscle pain, Fibromyalgia, Tendonitis and bursitis,
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, TMJ problems, Post-traumatic
pain and inflammation, and Heartburn.
