I have researched a lot of arthritis remedies and wonder why I haven't
stumbled upon this one before. Has anyone here ever tried this out?I Know someone who swears by apple cider vinegar for RA.They drink half pint of Apple cider vinegar mixed with half pint boiled water- cooled. They drink this during the day and it does seem to have had a good effect on their symptoms. I havent tried it but I will.

I have tried this in the past. I think the theory is that vinegar and lemon..while acidic become alkalizing to the Ph makeup of the body. To reduce inflammation we should try to get rid of the acidity in our bodies and become more alkaline.

I think I will try it again! Thanks for the reminder!! We need to get rid of all the soda and crap and get back to the basics!!

This reminds me of a remedy that was popular back in the 80's in West Virginia - It was "Joggin in a Jug".  Anyone remember it?    It was supposed to be a cure for arthritis, high cholesteral, etc.  I never tried it, but had several relatives who swore by it.

2 qt. apple juice
1 qt. grape juice
3/4 c. honey
3/4 c. apple cider vinegar

Mix all ingredients together in a large gallon jar. Drink 2 ounces a day.

My mom said it worked really well for her shingles!Did it years ago.......Did Nothing Wasn't there something bout Gin soaked raisins awhile ago?

SarahYeah, I read about gin soaked raisins and a friend of mine was supposedly trying it for her restless leg syndrome. Either way, considering raisins are the food I despise most, I don't think I could handle it.
