Anyone remember all the issues I had with my shoulder?????

I was trying to look up a good diagram of the back of the neck, as that's my new problem area. I found this :

I wanted to CRY. You see the areas of red??? That's EXACTLY where I was hurting SOOOOOOOOOOO badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except in the hand area, that I can't say was so bad, and I had chalked that up to my wrists at the time - but whatever. The red on the shoulder and arm.........that's EXACTLY it. I'm SO frustrated right now!!!!! Is this worth showing to my doctor?? I'm pretty much over it now I think, I haven't had any shoulder issues in over a month. But like I said, my neck is starting in the back. Could it be a somehow related problem??????? Ugh!
arriscolwell39238.789375Hey Katie,

Before my dx I had really bad pains in my neck, shoulder and upper arms.  And it would come and go and change location.  One night I woke up in agony with pain in my shoulder that was almost unbearable (and of course I was at a campground in a tent!).  Next day I my ROM in that arm was limited. Over the years I've had plenty of massage treatments to restore the ROM in my neck -- some days it would stiffen up within a day and I couldn't move.

Since the NSAIDs and MTX, I haven't had the problems.  I now think it was RA associated tendonitis, inflammation and/or referred pain from inflammation.

So, I think you should definitely tell your rheumy about it at your next appt -- or earlier if it becomes debilatating.

Take care.

Thank you Joy! I've been mulling over it for a while now, and I think that was my decision as well.....take it in, what harm can it do, right? :) Right!!  BUMP!!! I realized I messed up the link.........it works now, I swear!!!
