This is my 5th day off prednisone and I am OK pretty much. I noticed my right hand isnt exactly 100% but it's OK.The rest of me is just stiff for 5 minutes this morning but after that I'm OK.
So, Hopefully this sticks. I realize anything can happen. But I will take aleive for any pain.
I see the doc on July 9th and I am hoping my sed rate dosent go up too much otherwise I know he will up my MTX. He said it was up last time.
Fantastic! I hope you've found what it takes to get this disease under control without the use of prednisone. I hope it "sticks" also and Good Luck!I'm so glad you can do 'without' pred. I'm looking forward to no more moon face, and all the other stuff that goes along with Prednisone. Sarah LyndaI've been off since January, but I don't feel as well as I did last summer. I also take Aleve when I can't get my mind off the pain with just keeping busy with something else. But if I take the Aleve too often then I have to take Prilosec for the heartburn.
