Hi liz, did you have a great camping weekend? I watched The RV Movie and thought of youBUMPING up for liz!!!

LOL!!!  You guys crack me up!!  We ended up not being able to camp because of weather.  We had severe storms sweep thru Thursday evening into the wee hours of Friday morning.  That left camping out of the question because of wet, muddy, boggy conditions.  So we had a nice at home family day of shopping, horsing around, etc.  I took a break from all the boards and just focused all my energy on the family.  Made a great dinner on the bbq and had lots of fun.  Hit garage sales (my fav in the spring and summer thing to do) and got some neat stuff CHEEEP!!!

We are shooting for going this coming up weekend!!!  So here's to hoping the weather holds out!!!

My mom and dad went camping Liz........................

They cheated, they were in my aunt's BIG ASS camper.

Sorry the weather turned out so lousy but it sounds like you had a good weekend anyway.I hope the weather is good for this one

Katie- I have a funny story about a camper.(well caravan) We were coming back from a holiday a few years ago and hubby was driving in front of me towing the caravan and the kids were with him, My mum was with me in my car.We hit the motorway and all of a sudden the skylight of the caravan blew right off and bounced over two lanes.I called hubby on his cell phone and we all pulled over.I was hysterically laughing as it decided as it does in England to go from sunshine to heavy rain in seconds, hubby managed to board up the hole and we carried on.after about half hour the electric box cover flew off too and then the number plate . We didnt even bother stopping and carried on home. The caravan wasnt old but it all happened at once and we longer go camping Oh Katie, that would have been the BEST funny home video!

Lisa and Katie you are both too funny.  Glad no one was hurt in your adventures!

It reminded me of when I was a child my parents and I were returning home to Ohio after visiting my grandparents in West Virginia.  The car was packed full, and we had a car top carrier that was loaded too.  While on the WV Turnpike the top came off of the car top carrier, and suitcases and other things scattered all over the turnpike.  The worst was all the quilt pieces my mom had for an applique quilt she was working on - there were little green cloth leaves and flowers all over the highway!  My poor Dad was running around trying to pick them all up - Thank goodness it was very early in the morning and there wasn't much traffic!

Oh great camping and vacation stories!!!  I loved them!!!
