Was reading an article about body donation to UT Southwestern, then hopped on their site, and came across a research on this. THey did a double-blind placebo and it seemed to help. So, why isn't it approved??

I want to try it!!!!!!!

I guess I'm just sick of swallowing all these pills. LOL

Hi MsMidge,

I went to the site and found the article very interesting and the therapy very promising. I am all for research which will lead to the replacement of all these toxic drugs.

I sent a link to Deanna as the article stated that this is good for 'drug resistant' RA.

Thanks for the info.

Here's a good article on this and other "complementary / alternative" treatments.

Alan

I've called 6 herbalists here in Dallas, NONE of them have EVER heard of it!! (they all "claim" to be chinese herbalist specialists!!!)

Hmmmm.

My hunt continues! I'm about to put in a call to the guys down at UT Southwestern about this. I want some!!!   TO me, it's totally worth a shot. I've been taking glucosamine for like 4 months now....haven't noticed a difference....nor with any of the other supplements i"m taking now. *shhrugs*

Hi Again,

Perhaps KOKAKO88 will know where to get it  (Thunder God Vine)or has heard of it. He/She (can't tell by the name) posted on this board about Chinese herbs helping RA. I believe this member is from Singapore.  Would be worth a try.

I just sent a PM.  Will let you know if I get an answer.  Thanks
