So, we went to the Stevie Nicks concert this past Saturday night!  We had a really good time, we went with one other couple.  I was sure to take an extra bit of prednisone and an extra pain pill and enjoy the show greatly.  She did all the classics, a Tom Petty Cover and than Kid Rock, who is from Detroit, came out and played tambourine while they did a Zeppelin cover of Rock and Roll.  I had a couple of drinks and put the umbrellas from the drinks in my pigtails!  We were being silly and had a really good time.  Home by midnight and right to bed.

I definitely over did it as I literally slept all day Sunday.  Got up for about 2 hours around dinner to have a sandwich and went back to bed.  This morning, I am definitely way more sore than usual and puffed up like a marshmallow! Oh sweetie!! *hugs*

I will keep you in my thoughts!!

My RD gave me the "I think this is depression related" line about 3 months ago. But my Cymbalta kicked in helping my mental state, but it has not done a THING for my pain. If anything, my pain has gotten worse, but I am coping with it just fine. GO figure!!

*hugs* I hope they do something for you!!!!!!!!

Well good for you, speaking up and putting it in writing!  I hope you get the results you're looking for.  You Go Girl!

I'm glad you had such a great time at the concert.  We all need those special outings where we just let go and have fun.  Stevie Nicks puts on an amazing concert I have heard.  I'm glad she has finally gotten her life back on track and is performing again, because she is so talented.

I am supposed to usher tonight for Willie Nelson, but I just don't think I'm up to it.

But I will not miss a concert on June 23rd that my entire family is going to - it's  Lynrd Skynrd and The Doobie Brothers in concert together and should be a great time.  So I've got to get rested and ready for that one.  No way am I going to miss it.

I love the doobie brothers!  I saw lenoard skynard open for jefferson airplane MANY years ago!  We used to go to a lot of concerts but now, I am afraid to spend the money for tickets than not feel well enough to go.

Michele ((((hugs)))  I am so glad you spoke up for yourself!!  Great job!!!  All of us need to do that more often!!  Keep us posted on your switch to lexapro.  I am hoping it works for you better than the cymbalta did.

Ohh I would have loved to have seen Stevie Nicks.  She is awesome.

Karen!!  Take me with you!!!!!!!  And you better be resting if your hip and back is that bad.  When are you going to the doc??  HMMMM?

Sorry you hurt afterwards though, thats the only thing about doing the things we enjoy but if we give up altogether then life isnt worth living.Good for you writing that letter, I hope all goes well at your appontment. You wont be alone as you will be in all our thoughts, so really we will be there with you............that would shock the doctor"You wont be alone as you will be in all our thoughts, so really we will be there with you............that would shock the doctor
