Somedays ,I wonder why I even got up. I have to have surgery on my foot on 6/13 . I broke it 2 weeks ago but they wouldn't do surgery until I had been off my meds for atleast 2 weeks

Yowza you have lots on your plate!!!!  Gotta love it how kids that age always think they know what is best and how they are never ever treated as adults.  I have one teen and one pre teen at home so I can feel your pain there.

Cheermom...what you said about your mom doesn't sound bad.  It is the way you feel and you have the right to feel any way you want about that situation.  Personally, I have to agree with you on that one.

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery!!!  I hope everything goes well and you have a speedy recovery!!  Please update us on how you are doing as soon as you can after your surgery.

Cheermom - It is great that you see things so clearly.  Your daughter will learn soon enough what being an adult means.  Sounds like you are very clear about who you are going to support.  Your sister needed you and you were there for her.  You can do nothing for your mom.  My mom drank herself to death.  It was ugly.  Nothing we could do.  My brother offered to pay for rehab over and over.  You are a very bright woman.  I respect your ability to see it like it is.

Good luck on your surgery.  Hope sis will help out while you are recuperating.
