How do you clean the tub? Any special "technique"?thats what my man is for :) ....my shower and tub are impossible for me

heheheheee Sarah!

Ok now how about for the ones who have tub cleaning impaired hubby's

Also, I went to my gentle exercise group and a new instructor (younger than the rest of us), suggested we REALLLLLY stretch our arms over our heads, WELL, for 5 days I've had this weird pulled muscle feeling in my left side (yes my heart operation side....yikes!) I was thinking of telling my doctor(s) yesterday, but woke up feeling okay, so today it is much better. They would have said , "What are you doing???",  me

Um, I don't??

Seriously. I can't. I have a service that comes once a month. I was ticked beyond belief last time...the shower and kitchen sink were NOT cleaned properly. I had to go back and re-do it. The shower on TOP OF making a birthday bake.

I was a mess last week after that...still am!!

But yeah. I used to just use softscrub on it. I love the smell of comet and bleach in a bathroom...smells clean! lol

I dont know if you get it over there but i use a foaming bath mousse,You spray it on and leave it for 10 mins then go back and rinse it off.Its made by CIF.Lovely shiney bath

Ok I shall tell how I use to clean the tub. Use to because we no longer have a tub as we now have a shower stall!!

I would strip down to my under-roos get down into the tub, and sit on the far back side from the faucet. I would then take the scouring pad and scrub the tub with the heel of my foot. Once I got that side of the tub clean, I would then repeat on the side I was just sitting in. The bottom of my foot would be burning, from the bleach in the comet, but once I got to take a shower the burning would stop.

I had to do it that way because I have a bummed right wrist and could not scrub and my left hand was just not strong enough to scrub as good as the heel of my foot.

Yep, took me a while to not use bleach for cleaning the tub, I finally got tired of having to wear bleach spotted under-roos

I clean the tub at the end of my shower or bath each time..sounds boring and it is. I always leave a spare clean washcloth and the cleaner out so after I scrubby dub myself I do the bathtub or shower. So far it has worked out fine. Sounds kind of gross though as I read what I am typing....... but really it is a lot more simple. The tubby is the easiest I just swish the washcloth around like I am scrubbing it and it looks great when I am done.

Nothing creative, nothing special.

Forgot..On occassion I will actually go in with shorts and a tank top and clean with soft scrub, then rinse, then wipe down with windex and a dry cloth.

My teenager cleans my tub.

Hey, she has to earn her keep somehow til she gets a job lol.  IM KIDDING!!!!

ditto  grammaskittles.   the kid cleans the tub and shower in their bathroom and hubby does the one in our ensuite.  I do the floor of the shower when I'm in it with one of those microfibre cleaning cloths that I just shove around with my foot.  Hubby cleans the tiles cause my hands don't have the power to scrub. In a pinch, cheap shampoo. Like suave or something like that. Just pour it all over the tub, let it set for a bit and rinse it out. I read it somewhere and tried it, it really works! But Miles, doesn't shampoo leave the tub or shower slippery?  All we need is to fall in the shower.  Yikes! You just have to make sure you rinse it out!!My hubby takes care of it, he hired a cleaning service.I love the scrubbing brushes on a telescopic handle.  The handle can be made short or long.  Let the cleaner do the work for you.  Let it set a minute so that you are not scrubbing hard.

I was going to hire a cleaning service, but I have to get my house clean enough to let them in to clean.  I know that sounds crazy, but that is me.

THE TUB?? You're supposed to wash it?  HUMMM That's a thought....
