Why are AF members coming to this board to argue or harass other AF members?

Just wondering.

Ok harass is a bit harsh... how about bother? mess with? irritate? annoy? disturb? agitate? cause stress? aggravate? hassel?

Sorry went crazy with the thesaurusI can't answer that question for anyone else, but I post on several boards. I joined this board in early April and have posted exactly 13 times. I don't think I'm harassing anyone, even though I've been accused of numerous thngs.....

Lynn

Joonie,

I'm just glad none of this involves me~~~~

I've been on my bestest behavior!!!

Phats

Well, from some of their recent posts - I think some of them are a bit...unstable.

Pip

I am not sure I was referring to you, Lynn. It is a couple of others that just joined within the last couple of days, and posting things about what someone else done on AF board. I do not visit AF board for a reason, not much fun there and they do not like humor. To me humor makes my day.

Phatgirl -- I know... I wonder if we are still considered the "trouble makers". I mean I did rebell a little in the beginning. (taking my cue from Hurts) I blame that on the pred

Pip, I think we all are a little unstable.

I know I got my knickers in a bunch - but on rereading before my last big post (I AM not undoing hours of typing) I did think for safety reasons to cut out a response to one seemingly irrational person.  (Not you Lynn).

Pip

Of course, some may call that the pot calling the kettle black.

Joonie:

In Lynn's defense, it is not she who is trolling. It is another AF member.

I've been here since January. I don't post a lot, but I read a lot. I do like it here. And I am sorry if some "trouble" has followed me over here. They like to follow me around (joining the same boards as I, days after me and such) for some reason. When I post the trolls seem to come out. I guess they don't like that I have some differing opinions perhaps? I'm not sure.

Have a great day! Take care, Karin

I have been in chat, message boards, IRC, and BBS since 1996, and bad behavior is rampant everywhere.  I am guilty too.  There is something about the anonymity of the Internet that really brings out the craziness in some people.  I am amazed that anyone can keep their rage at that level for years on end.  Me, I sleep on it, next day I am over it.  Well, I have a couple of exceptions I keep on permanent ignore.  Ignore is a wonderful feature in here.  joonie
i think some people have got a drum to bang and if you dont really like the drum banging they seem to get very upset.

Some people just enjoy internet stalking, I guess!joonie
in my madder moments (ha ha ha ha ) ive wondered if there are competitor support sites for RA, and whoever runs them is trying to upset everyone on the AI because they want the posters on their boards.   Is that just mad????

or maybe they do it just because someone on this board always  reacts and then the fray begins.  The problems starts because a handful of regulars can't keep their mouths shut when it is obvious that they are being baited or when a difference of opinions occurs.  Newcomers are accused of trolleing if they dare to not toe the "company line".  People who disagree with the regulars are treated like dirt.

Don't look to the outside...the regulars cause most of the problems.  Stop reacting to the baiters and the baiters soon go away and find their fun elsewhere..its that simple.

I agree with buckeye. Some people on this message board just cannot resist posting to the "trolls" or whatever they are and that is what starts the whole mess. I have noticed on other boards that when a "troll" posts they just completely ignore it and it dies. It takes two people to start a fight, one alone has no one to fight with. When the "trolls" don't get the desired respose the move on to new territory. It is immature to always blame someone else for what happens on our board.
