Has anyone had a site reaction to humira injections 2 months after injecting the area. I havent injected into my left leg for at least two months but the area where i injected has come in a harD lumpy itchy rash. I have never had this even on the same day as taking the Humira.Yes!!! I had them show up about 6 weeks after and they lasted about 2 to 3 months after I discontinued using Humira. I had to put cortaid cream on them to help control the itching. I thought I was doing great because I had read that you usually get them, but mine were delayed. I am sorry you are getting them, they are soooo itchy!Yes....I ended up having to stop the Humira after the rash would grow to
the size of a softball.

If they aren't too large Benedryl might help. Mention it to your doc if it
gets worse.Any chance it's not related? Could you have gotten some sort of bit?I also had a site reaction to Humira. Very similar to what you describe, though mine seemed to appear almost immediately after each injection and lasted for several days. No problem with site reaction when I was on Enbrel however.pin
one of the things that worries me the most is site reactions....  why dont the rheumys prescribe anti-histamine just as a matter of course along with the anti-tnf?   doesn't it make any difference?   anna
No one mentioned taking anti histamine to me, i only thought of it when i read on here that others are taking benedryl. I am going to ask my G.P. today and will let you know. The site reactions are just itchy i think but it seemed really strange that after so long since injecting i would get it.
