I have just recently found your forum, and I can't tell you how wonderful it is. I am finding answers on here that really eases my mind.
I have had PMR for 7 1/2 years, and my rheum. says that, tho it is very rare, I will probably have to live with this the rest of my life. I was 49 when I first got it and it has been a long ride. Is there anyone else out there who is in a similar circumstance ?
I recently had a flare up and up goes the prednisone (thank goodness I only take 10 mgs.) I was so shakey and stumbled so badly that for a while I was using a cane to get around. I was really concerned, but you all have relieved my mind.

I was 49 aswell ...it went away after 2 years and came back as RA last year
