I know it is dangerous to stop prednisone abruptly. Tell me it is not the same with plaquenel right? If one wants, one can stop it without worry correct? I stopped it a while back...and didn't have any problems (although I'm back on it). I must say though, that I stopped taking it without talking to my doctor...so I'm not sure if it's something they suggest or not. But for me I had no problems when I stopped taking plaquenil.Hi there. I wouldn't want to stop the plaquenil just because it stops the progression of the RA, right?
