Hi all, I was sure i would feel lousy after 'getting completely' off the prednisone, but actually I feel the best I have in weeks?! Does anyone understand this? Remicade tomorrow, and hope I continue to feel good? I haven't had any ill-effects from it, but you never know. Still on a lot (20mgs. of MTX) too. So whatever is happening with these super meds I love it!! LyndaHi Lynda, what was your history with the pred, I would love to just stop it but I know thats just not possible but any advice would be appreciated, thanks Janie. Well done, hope you continue to improve.
Lynda, I'm so happy that you're entirely off Pred. I'm still on a small dose because of my sluggish adrenals but like you I feel great. If it hadn't been for my Remicade infusions I don't think I would have ever gotten off Pred. I was on it for 3 years. I guess we're two success stories. I hope our "feel good" days continue. LindyLynda, I have been off pred for a few weeks now. It started getting rainy and wet a few days ago and I woke up really stiff and have been feeling like an old woman all day. However, It is not a flare so, I think I will be OK.
I can sleep so good now that I am off this med.
Good for you, I am desperately trying to get off the pred. Wish me luck! I had a full day with a flare in my right leg, but survived!Hope you are still feeling great. Remicade should give you another boost.
