1/do I have to stay away from alcohol? (as in 2 glasses per week )
2/do I have to be carefull in the sun? (I live in CO lots of sun!)

I've never limited my alcohol intake with Plaquenil.
I love to sit in the sun and I've never had a problem with that either.
Alcohol should not be a problem. Be careful with the sun. When I was on plaquenil sun exposure would have a strange effect on my skin. Instead of tanning I would develop little pin points of brown all over my legs. Unless you looked closely you wouldn't notice it but it was odd nonetheless.Thanks so much ...hessalina I love your avatar! Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer, and the most important way to lower your risk of melanoma is to protect yourself from exposure to ultraviolet radiation!
