I have to go to the Doc today ( AGAIN) I am having really bad problems with my knee. The tendon that runs from my foot to my knee is like a taut wire, my ankle and knee are swollen and the pain is making me ill.I didnt sleep last night as I was in tears, hubby has been up all night with me too and has gone to work looking exhausted ( hate it when it affects him like this too). Dear Lisa, I am so sorry, tht must hurt so badly. I know that burning pain. I'm glad you are getting help today. LyndaAw sweetie, I am so sorry.  I hope the drs can do something to ease the pain up today.  Your hubby sounds like a trooper.  Love and hugs

Please let us know what the doc says.  So sorry you are going thru this!Doctor said "its rheumatoid arthritis".My normal doc was called out for emergency and i saw someone i never had before( think he was a locum).Tried ringing my rheumys office and he had left for the day. I am back to the wheelchair as legs are like lumps of wood. They feel so heavy and sore. Oh well I will try again tomorrow.Hope you feel better soon Pin. I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. Pinnie...what is a locum???  Hope you start feeling better soon.

Lisa, I am so sorry you are having such severe pain! Didn't the Dr. even have any suggestions for some relief from the worst of the pain?

I don't know what a "locum" is, but if it means "insensitive to suffering", then I guess he is one

I hope you feel much better soon.

Gentle hugs,

Nini

A locum is a temporary doctor( stand in)

Anna- I am not far from A&E but it closes at 9pm

Nini- the doc I saw had no ideas for anything. He really wasnt much use
