Today i am sick of this. i mean i always am but today i cantt put the positive spin on it. I worked 4 hours as a PT aide and i cam home and took a 2 hour nap, woke up in ever more pain oober stiff. this is week 3 being on humira. I go to my rheumy next week. So far im thinking its worse then enbrel, just feels like im on nothing.

how many of you are worse in the sumer time? i know for most people joints act up the most in the cold.....but im opposite, the humidity really does it for me. plus the heat makes me even tireder and i gues im more active.....spring and summer is like a 24/7 flare for me.

im sick of this!!! i feel 91 and im 19......im not that dyslexic!!!! Im going to be working 8-6 in a few weeks. i cant even handle 4 hours how is 10 gonna work???

Oh sweetie, I really understand how you are feeling. Take things one day at a time and rest when you can. Hopefully humira will kick in soon. In the meantime, has your dr given you anything for pain? I can't remember if you are on pred or not, but maybe you need it to get over this hump.

I hope you feel better soon!

im on pred...just 5mg been trying to get off completely for months been on it since last summer......not happening now though. im hoping she will give me more when i go next week

I'm sorry you're having such a bad time littlemermaid. Humira didn't work for me but I know it has for many people. It's still too early to tell because you haven't been on it long. Some people do get relief almost immediately but so far I haven't been one of them.

I feel so bad for you young ones. I wish you didn't have to deal with this. Just hang in there honey. There's always someone here to listen.

Thanks. i just wish i knew for sure what med would work for me enbrel helped a tiny bit-i only noticed that it helped when i had to come off when i was sick. humira so far nothing whats gonna be next? I really havnt had anything other then prednisone thats helped since the good old days when NSAIDs did the trick about 6 years ago.
