I've been gone for a couple of weeks - son graduated and we had lots of family here to entertain, plus I was flaring badly. Things are calming down and I am starting to wean pred again. I saw Rheumy yesterday. He walked in the room and said "you're suffering" It wasn't a question, he could tell by looking at me. He changed my pain med and told me to make sure I get plenty of rest during the day and quality sleep at night. I'm tired of taking so many meds and questioned whether I really had ra and lupus. He said He believed I did and was waiting to see if other symptoms presented themselves. I also have Sjogren's and Raynaud's.
Last night i really goofed. I did my mtx shot and went to bed without taking my nighttime meds. I woke up this morning at 5 am in the worst pain ever. Hubby rubbed my back and said it felt really "icky" I realized about my meds so I took them and slept past noon today. I will never make that mistake again!
I'm sorry I havent posted much lately, but I have kept up to date with everyone's posts. You are all in my daily thoughts and prayers. I hope we all are able to find a bit of relief from the pain and peace in our lives. I will post when I can. Hugs to all....
