I am headed off to southern West Virginia tomorrow to spend a week with my mom. I haven't been there in a year and a half, and I really feel guilty about it.
So it's time to reconnect with family. Got lots of cousins to visit,
It will be nice to be like Paris and live the simple life for awhile!
I can't say I'm looking forward to the 12 hour drive though. I wish I could be like Captain Kirk and say "Beam me home, Scotty". I am going by myself, because everyone else has to work. But once I get rolling and get "into the zone" I'll be fine. I'll be going through NY, PA, MD, and VA on my way, so I'll wave at everyone as I go by!
Have a fantastic trip home. I understand about the long trip, mine is 24 hours in the air. I was home in October and really enjoyed seeing aunts and uncles and asking questions about family history (I'm the self appointed family historian).
Enjoy spending time with your family. Its precious time that can never be replaced.

W.V. is actually one of my favorite places and I think it's one of the most beautiful states. It's like a little hidden forest paradise that people don't ever think of going to but is so beautiful. Have a safe trip and enjoy your family. LindyHave fun!! West VA. is beautiful! I live in SW Virginia so all I have to do is cross the
