Has anyone seen this?? And if so, did you read the book first? I honestly thought it was going to suck as a movie - I thought for SURE Disney would screw up the ending, since it's so sad.
Having seen it now.....I'm in love with it. I BAWLED!! It was *so* good, and it actually kept to the book!! Now I have to go buy it, and read it again!!!

I took the kids to see it at the movies. I did NOT read the book first. I was totally caught off guard- cried like a baby. It was excellent.
Danielle will be off with hubby sometime soon to see this. Not my type of book or movie. The rule in our house with the kids is if they read it and they make a movie out of it, we take them to see the movie. And since Danielle reads voraciously, we see lots of movies lol.
It sounds like they did a good job with this one and Danielle will prolly enjoy it lots.
