I saw this article on anti-inflammatory diets which I thought might be of interest to others. As I've stated before, I don't think diet is a cure for RA but I do believe it can be a positive factor to help control the inflammation. In my case, Humira is working pretty well, but it's not perfect and my RD is talking now about adding Arava. I'm hoping a better diet might make the difference that will allow me to stick with just the Humira...I would prefer to stay away from drug "cocktails" as long as possible.

Ooooo blackberries....that so makes me drool!!Ha! I just made a home made blueberry pie - oh and I bought some chocolate (purely for medicinal purposes) DARK DARK chocolte.Hi, thanks for the article, aren't berries just one of nature's most wonderful creations!! I love all berries. We use to pick them along the rail road tracks in Seattle when my husband was attending the U of Washington. We were poor students and boy were those 'free berries' a treat. We'd eat them all BEFORE I could even get a pie crust made! Also, Apples were , for 24 pound box. We ate apples every way you could imagine, pies, cakes, apple sauce, ....etc. They were the best part of our day!! Lynda
