Just checking in to make sure everyone is having a great weekend. Our weather has been yukk today but we are all at home rocking to the Princess Diana concert

Hey Lisa, me either,I'll never forget coming home and turning on the TV, I was so horrified and just cried and cried. She was our fairy tale princess too and those boys just broke my heart.

When she and the Prince got married it came on here at 5:00 am and my sister and I got up just to watch. We followed her every footstep too and my daughter has almost every book written about her. I had hoped she had finally found happiness. What a blow to be passed over for Camilla, yuk! Diana was beautiful! Hope the concert is great... when you come across the pond bring me ole Rod, he's still got it I can't believe it has been 10 years either.  I just feel her death was just so devastating because of the circumstances that surrounded it and she did so much for so many charities.  Many people are going to go without now that she is gone.

I fail to understand the obessesion that people have with celebrities.  They put their pants on the same way as anyone else.  One leg at a time.

"They put their pants on the same way as anyone else. One leg at a time."

Except that their legs have a 0 wax job, and those pants are 0-400 a leg....

But seriously, I can't believe it's been 10 years.....y'all wanna feel old? I was 13 at the time! I remember getting up and seeing it on the news, we were in the UK when it happened too. At the flag pole on base, people had built their own memorial with flowers. I walked from my house to the base (about 3miles) and picked flowers on the way, so that I could put them there too. You would think at 13, I wouldn't have "gotten it" But man did I. I looked up to her, she was a role model.

Oh, and I was *totally* going to marry one of the boys......right....me and every other girl on the planet......

Katie youd have to fight me first
