Find that one thing you always wanted to do and just do it! Why worry about the "what if's". I say if ya feel like eating darn cakes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... and it will make you happy... then do it. I say if you want to go hang-gliding and scared of hieghts, just do it!

I am starting to realize I am getting older and my body is much more older than my age. I have decided that I want to do things I was always scared of doing or felt I should not do, because of fear it could result in death. I mean I am not getting any younger, and my body sure is not. I might as well try to do some of it now, because if I keep putting it off, my body might not be able to hang with me, if ya know what I mean. I am thinking of going to the state fair in october and riding rides I normally would not ride, for fear that something would go wrong with the ride and it cause my untimely death.

I say just live your life to the fullest. Do things you always wanted to do before your body can no longer keep up with your age or mind (what is left of it anyway

Joone, I'm happy that a 20 something posted that.  I've been saying that for years and I'm sure that people don't want to hear it from a 62 y.o. (me)  It's good to hear someone younger echo those words.  That's how my husband and I live our lives.  We take risks and enjoy life to the fullest.  I'm more careful now because of the drugs but we still do those crazy things.  Lindy

    AMEN JOONIE!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Have ya heard the song by Tim Mcgraw "Live Like You We're Dying"?It can be your theme song

GO  JOONIE  GO!!! I'll stay in my little box at home and root for ya

Good motto :) I've always lived my life like that. I've never wanted to have regrets, and can honestly say that I don't have any at this point in my life (age 40). I've jumped out of planes, scuba dived with sharks, done the crazy rollercoasters, etc. I don't do the rides now b/c of heart issues. And I don't eat the crazy food, b/c I have no desire to put crap in my body and look like a whale. But....I don't put off doing things......if I'm feeling well, I'll easily take my 9 year old out of school for the day for an impromptu trip to Disney World. I hope you continue to do what makes you happy......

Juliah you have been skydiving!!!  I am soooo jealous!!!  I want to do it sooooooooooo bad.  There is a place to do it too not to far away from where I live.  I think I would have to tandem jump because because of knee but I don't care.  It would still be a jump!!!!

What I really really want to do is refinish an old Victorian home.  Once I win the lottery lol.

Yay, Joonie!  I hope to see a photo of you on a rollercoaster this summer!  Just let go and have fun.  Every day is a special gift, so fill them with things that make you smile.

Juliah, I have always wanted to go skydiving, and I still hope to do it someday.  Hey if George Bush, Sr. can do it at his age, I should be able to, right?  Actually, I remember hearing quite awhile ago where folks with MS went skydiving and their symptoms improved dramatically.  They theorized that the rush of adrenaline somehow helped!  I say we all need some rushes of adrenaline now and then.

Gramma, I love Victorian homes, and it would be amazing to restore one.  I watch the HGTV show If Walls Could Talk and love hearing the stories about what people have found in their old homes as they are restoring them.  It would be so much fun.

Hey Liz, you can come work on my hose any time!  Its not really a true old Victorian but it was built in 1922 and has that same sort of feel to it, although much smaller!

I used to LOVE roller coasters, Cedar Point was my favorite place, especially in the fall when it was decorated for Halloween.  Maybe I could go again if I get that scooter....

Not sure how I feel about skydiving but I would definitely love to visit more places.  Like you Liz, maybe after I win the lotto!
