You've been warned! I wanted to share my excitement. Justin and I were eyeing up some tickets to the Marilyn Manson concert in Tampa on the 27th. We REEAAALLLLYY wanted to go. I booked us a hotel room on an employee rate (which was . whee!) and we took to watching the ticket prices. They went up and down, and out of stock, and back in stock again. Front row seats started at 8 on the day of ticket release. HAH There was no way. Seats in the 300 sections were an easy 0 and then some. We were super bummed, thinking we'd have to get lawn seats and call it good. But we didn't have the money yet ANYWAY, so we kept watching. Last month, VIP tickets with parking and all kinds of goodies came avalible for 0 each. Once again, we didn't have the money. BUT, we'd been saving this whole time. Soooo then all the tickets start to disapear COMPLETELY. Now we really WERE going to have to get lawn seats. BUMMER.

About 5 days before we got paid, and before we were going to buy our tickets, they re-released tickets. All the ones people had gotten refunds on, and never paid for, etc etc. And you know what they released? VIP Box seating with parking and waitress service in the 100 section for - guess how much - 8 each. NO EFFING WAY. Way!! They had 8 left on payday, and we SNAGGED them bitches - AT AN EVEN LOWER PRICE! 6!!! When we went back into the screen, to see how much the remianing 6 were, they had bumped the price back up to 7. So how stoked were we? Terribly, LOL.

So I took the liberty of viewing the parking map, and our ticket seats, and I have marked on a map of the arena where our seats will probably be, and where we get to park. I have it all in my blog, and YES I am gloating like a terrible person and I don't care! LOL I've never been to a concert in my life, and I'm excited that my first one will be my favorite artist of all time, AND I will have rediculously good seating!

So be excited with me, cause I'm probably not going to get this chance again! Here's the link to my blog :)

Katie, I'm really happy that YOU'RE so happy! I hope you have the time of your life. You deserve it! Heeeeheee.  Have fun.  Concerts are sooooo much fun.  I did VIP seating for the Evanescence concert (one of my ALL TIME favs) and it is definitely worth the money.  Hey that's great!!  Have a good time, Katie!!

Well... now... looks like Katie is going to get to do something I have never got to do... go to a concert

Glad for ya both! Hope ya'll have a GREAT TIME!! And do not be running that poor waitress ragged

Hopefully I will be seeing MY favorite singer on either the day after or the day of my bday!!!  My best bud works for the company that does the lighting for Tim Mcgraw so hes checking to see if he can hook me up w/ tkts....will keep yall informed :D  Have fun Katie!!!

enjoy the concert, we were lucky to get tickets to see Elton John and Billy Joel at Tampa Stadium, first concert they had together, it was wonderful..Had no problem driving there and coming out it was just like Disneyland, they were so organized handling all the traffic.  We have tickets for Cirque de Soliel on Aug. 17th to celebrate my b/d.

again have a great time, you will always remember it.  rose
Thanks guys!!! I'm just so excited, it's like being a kid again!!  I already have butterflies in my tummy, and it's still 20 something days away (but who's counting, right?) This is one of those "screw it, live for the moment" moments. And damn I'm glad I'm doing it!!!! Katie, what do you mean "it's like being a kid again."  You are a kid!!! And have the time of your life.  We saw Jimmy Buffet in Vegas a couple of years ago and it was one of those great concert moments.  I understand exactly how you feel.  Lindy

ROCK ON KATIE! Do some head banging. Do you kids still do that? I love concerts. I have been to so many back in the day. John Cougar Mellancamp about 8 times, Bob Seger, Loverboy, Van Halen, George THorogood, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Charlie Daniels, Foghat, Steppenwolf, Head East, and some more bands you younguns' probably never heard of. LOL

Have a blast!

Katie- My son is soooooooooooo jealous, he loves Marylin Manson and all the rest of that kind of stuff. He is waiting for Green Day to come back over here as we told him he could go when he was 16.

He is off to see Foo Fighters for now

Have the best time and I am really glad for you, concerts are lots of fun and you will love the atmosphere of one. Remember me when you are jumping around to "tainted Love"  I love that one.

My gosh CinDee, I think you and I have been to all the same concerts.

Sounds like you earned those tickets. Great seats!!  Have a great time!!!  Its wonderful to be so excited about something!!!

HAve a great time! I am seeing him as well in August. I live in Toronto Canada and run the promos at a big outdoor concert venue here so I get to see all sorts of shows. If you are ever in Toronto..........

HAVE FUN!! Concerts are the best! I am seeing Nickleback tomorrow and The White Stripes on Thursday and am pumped too!

Oh wow! Yay! I guess I'm behind in the world of concerts then.....LOL

Pin, I'll think of you, that's one of my favs too! In the video, he's in a hot tub with some chick, and theres just this split second where they look so close, and like they enjoy it so much - and you're gonna laugh - I get *so* jealous. LMAO

I'd love to see more concerts! I don't know who else to go to. Although, I'm thinking of a couple - Voodoofest in N.O. and Projekt something or other....lol we'll see!!
